Then consider the opportunity to serve your Chapter by becoming a Board member.
The ONTWS has 3 Officer positions and 2 Board positions open for the 2017 election! They are:
President (2 year term, 1 as President, 1 as Past-president)
President-elect (3 year term, 1 as President Elect, 1 as President, 1 as Past President)
Secretary/Treasurer (2 year term)
2 Board members (2 year term)
Meetings of the Executive Board are determined by the Chapter President and there shall be at least one (1) meeting per year of the Executive Board. Meetings are generally by conference call throughout the year to plan the annual meeting, plan workshops, provide input on pressing conservation issues, and in general serve the interests of the Chapter and Ontario’s wildlife. Nomination Deadline is February 28, 2017. Ballots with candidate bios will be sent out March 2, 2017 and Elections will occur by e-mail ballots due March 31, 2017.
